Let the marbles roll!

Help two robots with their tasks using a marble run!

We are still looking for participants for a study with an expense allowance of up to 20€. Your task? Find errors in the control code of a robot arm! Your debugging helps our helpers put their marbles in the right places.

All hygiene rules are observed and the hardware is thoroughly disinfected before and after each use.

Prerequisites for participation:

  • Fundamentals of Programming or Programming 1 or similar such as object-oriented programming (basics) successfully passed (Java knowledge required).
  • Normal/corrected eyesight is required.

Compensation for expenses:

You will receive an expense allowance up to 20€ and a stamp for the HCI bonus card for participating.

Location:

The study will take place in the laboratory (H421) of the HCI Chair on Campus 2 and will last approximately 120 minutes.

How good are you at assembling a virtual model? Test the new interactive mentor!

The Chair of Human-Computer Interaction is looking for participants for a virtual reality study with a compensation of €10.

In this study, we investigate how virtual mentors can guide participants through a task in virtual reality and support learning in VR environments. During the study, you will build a simple virtual model and receive instructions from a virtual mentor.

Participation requirements:

  • You must be of legal age
  • and have normal vision, wear contact lenses or glasses.
  • Good German language skills are required, as the study will be conducted in German.
  • No prior experience with virtual reality is necessary.

Compensation: €10 + stamp on your HCI bonus card

Duration: approx. 60 minutes

Location: Room H404 on Campus 2
