How far and accurately can you teleport in virtual worlds? Find out and receive €10 in compensation.

The Chair of Human-Computer Interaction is looking for participants for a virtual reality study with €10 compensation.

In this study, we will investigate how accurately you can move and rotate in virtual worlds using different visualizations for rotation. The goal is to enable you to explore large virtual environments, even though physical freedom of movement is limited by the space in which virtual reality is used.

Eligibility :

• You must be of legal age..
• You must have normal or corrected vision (glasses/contact lenses). (Glasses frames must be small enough to fit under VR glasses.)
• No prior experience with virtual reality is necessary.

Compensation: €10 + stamp on your HCI bonus card

Duration: approx. 60 minutes

We are investigating how virtual models can be assembled. The study lasts approximately 60-90 minutes, and you will receive €10-15 reimbursement!

In the study, we will investigate how you assemble a building task in various scenarios in virtual reality to better understand which types of support are particularly effective in promoting the learning and training process in industrial application scenarios.

Eligibility:

• You are of legal age
• and have normal vision or wear contact lenses.
• Good German language skills are required; the study will be conducted in German.
• No prior experience with virtual reality is necessary.

Fee:€10–15 + stamp on the HCI bonus card.

Duration:Approx. 60–90 minutes.
