(BA) Lecture - Human - Computer Interaction

The course "Human-Computer Interaction" imparts basics and practical knowledge on the subject of Human-Computer Interaction, design and development of interactive systems and user interfaces, design and implementation of user studies as an empirical, scientific method for validating interactive systems, as well as for the development of applications in virtual ones Environments as an example of use. Additional content is developed and discussed as part of a home exercise with regular meetings. Practical skills are learned as part of a small lecture-accompanying project and insights into empirical research are given as part of participation in a user study.

(BA) Internship - Internship in a large study project

The internship in the large study project (BA Informatik 2012) or computer science project (BA Informatik 2020) is offered by the Chair of Human-Computer Interaction in the context of the development of VR applications and the design and development of interactive systems. The objective of the internship is the planning and implementation of a software project in these areas. The aim of the event is both the development of an exposé and the practical implementation of the project. Among other things, the game engine Unity is used for the work.
