Arbeitsschwerpunkte

Meine Arbeitsschwerpunkte und Interessen liegen im Bereich der Agententechnologie, der Multiagentensysteme und der agentenbasierten Modellierung, insbesondere für die Sozialsimulation.

Seit 2008 arbeite ich an der Modellierung, Ausführung und Anwendung von Multiagentensystemen. Beginnend mit der ontologiebasierten Formalisierung von dynamischen Agentenumwelten lag der Fokus insbesondere auf der Interaktion und der Koordination verteilter Akteure. Ausgehend von der soziologischen Systemtheorie Niklas Luhmanns habe ich Entscheidungsmechanismen für autonome Softwareagenten entwickelt, welche eine Selbstorganisation logistischer Prozesse ermöglichen. Hierzu habe ich mich mit der nebenläufigen Adaptation von verteilten Verhaltensmustern zur Generierung sozialer Ordnung in Multiagentensystemen befasst. Die dabei erworbene Expertise in der interdisziplinären Forschung zur Modellierung komplexer Sozialverhalten übertrage ich in meiner aktuellen Forschung auf die Entwicklung von intelligenten Agenten zur Repräsentation menschlicher Akteure in der Sozialsimulation.
