Profile

Christof Schöch has been Professor of Digital Humanities at the University of Trier and co-director of the Trier Center for Digital Humanities (TCDH) since 2017. His research and teaching focus on Computational Literary Studies, combining a methodological focus on data modeling and quantitative text analysis, the application domain of French literature, and a preference for Open Science practices. He is the second chair of the association Digital Humanities in the German-speaking areas (DHd-Verband) and co-editor of the Journal of Computational Literary Studies (JCLS).
