• “Pacific Scanner: Developing a high-throughput, whole-ecosystem DNA metabarcoding platform for Pacific-wide analysis of island biodiversity”
  
  Using DNA metabarcoding, we characterize the composition and network structure of arthropod communities on three Pacific Island systems (Ryukyus, Hawaii and Marianas) along a gradient of anthropogenic disturbance. This project is an international collaboration uniting Germany (Trier University), Japan (Okinawa Institute of Science & Technology) and the USA (UC Berkeley, Iowa State University).
