Short Bio
Dominique Bohrmann is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the HCI group at Trier University since May 2022. He completed his PhD at the Technical University of Munich (TUM School of Engineering and Design) in the field of Human Factors. In cooperation with Mercedes-Benz AG, he investigated countermeasures of the vehicle interior to avoid kinetosis (motion sickness) manifestations originating in automated driving scenarios.
At the University of Trier, he is conducting research in the interdisciplinary project "FlexiTeams" on the use of artificial intelligence to support managers in the organization of emergency teams during crises (e.g. COVID-19 pandemic). Together with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and the Department of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of Trier, his research focuses in particular on the design of user-friendly human-machine interfaces.
