AOEyes is a freely available software based on Python 3.7 for generating gaze data, plotting areas of interest and gaze data, and descriptively analyzing classifications of gaze data. AOEyes was developed by the Department of Biological and Clinical Psychology at the University of Trier, Germany, and is designed to facilitate the validation process of new interactive eye-tracking setups in which the impact of data accuracy on decisions such as the size of AOIs can be made in a data-driven manner.
