Dear students, you can now apply for specific bachelor's and master's thesis topics, which you can find published here on this page. The following list contains topics that are currently (or will soon be) available and can be worked on in consultation with the specified supervisors at the earliest possible or specified start date. This list is updated on an ongoing basis. If you are interested, please contact the specified supervisor directly.

If you would like to write a thesis in our department, please follow these steps:

1. Download and read the guidelines for theBachelor-/Masterthesis.
2. Select a topic and contact the coordinator, Ms. Lepsy (lepsyuni-trierde).
3. If the decision is positive, schedule a meeting with the advisor for your preferred topic to discuss potential collaboration.
4. Consult with your advisor regarding the topic, research question, timeline, etc.
5. Submit the signed supervision agreement and privacy policy to the office.
6. Write and submit an abstract.
7. Presentation at the colloquium to introduce the research proposal.
8. Submission of the application for assignment of a bachelor’s or master’s thesis to the Office of Academic Records (HPA).
9. Collection and analysis of data, and preparation of the written thesis.
10. Submission of the thesis in hard copy to the HPA.
