Recognition of study achievements
If you have studied at another university and would like to change to the University of Trier, you will need a recognition of your previous achievements and a subject semester classification. This also applies to students already enrolled at the University of Trier who plan to change to the master's program in VWL.
Important: Enrollment at Trier University is a mandatory prerequisite for recognitions and the verification for recognitions. Only after successful enrollment via the Student Secretariat can applications for recognition be reviewed. First enrollment, then recognition check! For capacity reasons, we cannot perform a preliminary check of the achievements that will be recognized! |
Process steps for the recognition of examination achievements and the classification into the corresponding subject semester:
Step 1: Visit the office hours of Mr. Specovius (office hours and responsibilities see contact).
Step 2: Please bring proof of all previous academic achievements to the office hours. The examination of the present case will be carried out by Mr. Specovius (no examination without complete documentation).
Step 3: Decision on recognition and classification by the chairman of the examination board, Prof. Dr. Bauer.
Step 4: Forwarding of the recognition and classification to the University Examination Office and the Student Secretariat.
New: If you are planning a stay abroad outside of the Erasmus program, please contact the examination board and the Erasmus office beforehand!
