Heather Shay

Heather Shay has been a lecturer in Sprachpraxis since 2018, previously at the University of Rostock and the University of Hamburg. She completed a Bachelor's in English Drama and Theatre Studies, and Spanish at the University of Chester. At Master's level, she holds degrees from the University of Oxford, Institute of Education at University College London, and the University of Wales. Early in her career, she worked as an academic translator in Berlin and secondary teacher and examiner of German, Spanish and French in London and Oxford.  She trained as a teacher of English through Cambridge University obtaining both CELTA and DELTA qualifications. Alongside lecturing, she is currently completing a doctorate.
