Frank Fuhrmann
I hold a 1. Staatsexamen in English and Political Science from Trier University and completed my teacher training with a 2. Staatsexamen for English and Sozialkunde from the Studienseminar für das LA Gymnasium in Koblenz. Additionally, I am a certified CLIL teacher for Sozialkunde bilingual.
During my studies, I worked as a PES teacher at the Erich Klausener-Gymnasium in Adenau and taught Fachenglisch at the MTA-Schule in Trier. Since then, I have held full-time teaching positions at several Gymnasien across Rhineland-Palatinate, including schools in Hermeskeil, Koblenz, Schweich, and Wittlich.
Since 2022, I have been part of the faculty at Humboldt-Gymnasium in Trier. In August 2024, I joined the TEFL team at Trier University as an abgeordnete Lehrkraft.
My professional focus is on integrating digitally enhanced English language teaching and drawing on literature and culture to enrich the EFL classroom. My aim is to equip students with practical tools to apply their academic knowledge effectively in their future careers.
