Dr Britta Colligs
Britta Colligs joined the English Department in March 2016. She studied English and Pedagogy at the University of Trier and the Waikato University, New Zealand, and obtained her Magister Artium in November 2014. In 2022, she completed her PhD thesis investigating an ecocritical approach to high fantasy literature, which was supervised by Prof. Dr. Duffield. Her new research project is concerned with narrative structures, ecocriticism and mythology in Indigenous (especially Maori and Aboriginal Canadian) as well as neo-Indigenous Anglophone literatures.
