The ECAS course on Small Area Statistics will take place as seminar from 8th to 10th August 2011. The course will be embedded in the international conference SAE 2011 (11th - 13th August 2011) in Trier.
Small Area Statistics
Small Area Estimation is a branch of Statistical Science providing methodology that borrows strength from auxiliary data, from other domains or from time or spatial correlation.
The ECAS-Course will take place in Trier, the oldest city of Germany. The picturesque valley of the river Moselle with its flourishing vineyards gave already the Roman emperors a good reason to stay in Trier.
