Hey there! Nice that you found our website.
Who we are:
We are the CampusOhr (eng. CampusEar) - We are an association of psychology students who want to listen to other students. No matter what kind of situation you are in or whatever is on your mind, we can gladly offer you a conversation during a walk or via Zoom. If you talk about an issue it can happen that the problem becomes more tangible and new perspectives open up. It is like a famous psychologist Carl Rogers once said:
“When I have been listened to and when I have been heard, I am able to re-perceive my world in a new way and to go on. It is astonishing how elements that seem insoluble become soluble when someone listens, how confusions that seem irremediable turn into relatively clear flowing streams when one is heard. I have deeply appreciated the times that I have experienced this sensitive, empathic, concentrated listening.”
If you are interested in a conversation with one of us, feel free to contact our team by mail. Then we will try to find an appointment for you with one of our members as soon as possible - the time frame is about an hour. Your concern will of course be treated confidentially.
It is important for us to note that this conversation is not a substitute for therapy and is also not aimed at providing you with a solution.
We can provide you some contact data from counseling or therapy offers if there is a need for further conversations as well.
What is important for us:
- The requirement for new CampusOhr-members to have a conversation is the participation in a workshop lasting several hours, which we offer once or twice a year.
- To stay up to date we regularly hold internal workshops in which we practice interviewing techniques based on the humanistic approach of Carl Rogers.
- We want to know if you liked our offer and always want to develop further as well. That is why we look forward to every feedback sheet that can be filled out after an interview.
