Viktoria Krämer

I am a member of the TEFL team (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and the VERA-8 English project team (Vergleichsarbeiten in Jahrgangsstufe 8) at Trier University. In cooperation with the Institut für Qualitätsentwicklung im Bildungswesen in Berlin, we support and supervise the development of language tests designed to assess the listening and reading skills of Year 8 students. This work closely aligns with my research interests, which focus on L2 listening assessment and the development of communicative language skills in the English classroom. Currently, my research also explores audio-visual and technology-based assessment.
Following my studies at the Universities of Trier and Chester (United Kingdom), I worked as a teacher of English, Geography, and CLIL at a Gymnasium before joining the English Department in 2022.
