Erasmus⁺ and study abroad
Studying abroad - whether organised through ERASMUS ⁺ or another exchange programme - is recommended from the 4th semester onwards in the Bachelor's programme, because the first study phase is usually completed by the 4th semester and the second study phase (the final year of study) can then essentially be completed at the foreign host university. A favourable time for studying abroad in the Master's programme is the 3rd and 4th semester.
Bachelor's and Master's students can also prepare or write their final thesis (Bachelor's or Master's thesis) at the foreign host university. However, this requires a precise agreement with a local supervisor.
