This handbook is a milestone of the project Taiwan as Pioneer which is an
interdisciplinary and supra-regional postdoctoral joint project to promote structural
strengthening and networking of Taiwan research in Sinology in Germany. The focus of the
research is on Taiwan's role as an innovator in the dynamics of global megatrends.
The TAP team is looking for papers that will discuss:
- ecolonial methods
- Knowledge co-construction methods
- Art-based methods
- Ecocriticism and its methods
- Digital methods

The paper can address:
- Gender issues
- Demographic challenge
- Ageing issues
- Indigenous rights
and more.
Key dates:
- Deadline for submission of abstracts: 30 October 2023
- Notification of accepted abstracts: 30 November 2023
- Deadline for submission of full papers: 30 March 2024
- Notification of peer review outcomes: 30 June 2024
- Revised manuscript due: 15 August 2024
- Submitting manuscript to the publisher: 15 October 2024
