Daniel Mischa Helsper

I am a PhD student in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) at the English department of Trier University. In my PhD project, I am developing a subject-specific rating instrument for measuring cognitive activation in English language classrooms. The project is supervised by Prof. Dr. Henning Rossa.

Before joining the department as a PhD student, I studied English, German and Education in Trier and spent some time as a visiting student at the Universities of Cambridge and Aberdeen. I hold both a Master of Education in English, German and Education and a Master of Arts in English linguistics and German.
