Dr Jenny Skipp

Jenny Skipp joined the University of Trier as Lektorin in October 2014 after working as a Lehrbeauftragte from April 2014.  Previously, she worked as a Senior Lecturer in the English Department at the University of Salzburg teaching a mixture of language, literature and cultural studies classes.  She completed her PhD at the University of Leeds in 2007 which was an examination of British eighteenth-century erotic literature.  She is interested in British cultural history and the dichotomoy between high and popular culture in Britain from the eighteenth century onwards.
