Dr. Jan Goldenstein

Career

Studies of Contemporary Sinology, Ancient Chinese Philology and Ethnology. Master's thesis on the cultural characteristics of the Internet as a medium in the People's Republic of China.

During his studies, he worked on the DFG project "Internet in the People's Republic of China - Cultural Characteristics and Regional Impact of a Global Medium", an interdisciplinary project (Sinology and Media Studies) at the University of Trier.

2011 Dissertation on the topic of Internet perception in the People's Republic of China.

Currently lecturer, course coordinator and ECTS representative at the University of Trier.
