Taiwan as a Pioneer (TAP): Local Innovation in the Dynamics of Global Megatrends — a project review

This article introduces Taiwan as a pioneer (TAP) and the project goal of strengthening Taiwan studies through research, workshops, teaching initiatives, digital infrastructure, and field research.

At the end of the project, TAP published the report book „Taiwan as a Pioneer: Local Innovation in the Dynamics of Global Megatrends“ with a selection of contributions from the fourth annual International workshop, which took place from September 1-4, 2025 at Trier University.
