TAP @ Iserlohner Kreis 2022

After a break due to corona, the Iserlohn Circle met again from 16 to 17 July 2022. Under the title "Chinese Research and Academic Discourses in Contemporary China Studies", 15 young academics met to present and discuss their research approaches and qualification projects from different perspectives. On Saturday evening, Dr. Josie-Marie Perkuhn presented the Taiwan as a Pioneer (TAP) project and moderated the discussion panel "The stand on Taiwan Studies in Sinology". She also referred to the current contributions to the debate on the "Taiwan Insight" platform. In the lively debate, the development of including more Taiwan studies in the curriculum of sinology courses was widely welcomed.
