Career

2004 - 2011: Master's degree in Sinology and minor subjects in Indo-European Linguistics and Ancient Near Eastern Philology at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Germany

2007 - 2008: Language studies at the Language Center of the National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan (R.O.C.), sponsored by the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship of the German Academic Exchange Service and the Ministry of Education, Taiwan (R.O.C.)

2011 - 2020: doctoral studies at the National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan (R.O.C. ) with the dissertation topic "Research on 22-Rhymes Applicability in Taiwanese Literature Current Rhyming - Mainly Based on Kua-a Books Corpus" (「廿二韻」對臺灣閩南語文體用韻之適用性研究-以歌仔冊為主要論例).

2021 - 2022: teaching assistant in the position of adjunct associate professor at the Institute of Taiwanese Literature, National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan (R.O.C.).

since 2022: research associate at the project "Taiwan as a Pioneer" at the University of Trier, Germany

Research interests

Taiwanese literature (especially proverbs, poems, kua-á books and other rhyming literature), Taiwanese phonology, Taiwanese culture
