Short Biography

Magret Laufer has been part of Trier University since 1981 and has brought her extensive experience and expertise to the Chair of Marketing and Innovation since September 2025. Her career began at the Chair of International Economics and Developing Countries under Prof. Dr. El-Shagi, where she worked until his retirement in 2006. She then joined the Chair of Environmental and Municipal Economics under Prof. Dr. Georg Müller-Fürstenberger, where she continues to work today. Since 2010, she has also supported the Chair of Consumer and Communication Research, formerly headed by Prof. Dr. Michael Jäckel.
