Information about exams

This information applies to Erasmus students from Bachelor programmes!

General regulation according to Bachelor examination regulations: If someone fails a module in an examination-relevant exam, he or she must take the next possible exam again.

This means for Erasmus students who are on "leave of absence" for their Erasmus stay that they first have to take part in the first next possible exam which takes place in the semester in which they are enrolled at the University of Trier again.

Practical example:
a) The examination in module XY in the summer semester 2019 will take place at the end of July.
b) The student does not pass the examination.
c) From winter semester 2019/20, the student goes to a partner university for two semesters within the framework of the Erasmus programme.
d) The student is granted leave of absence for this period at the University of Trier (for the duration of the stay of two semesters). (Important!)
e) After returning from the Erasmus stay, you will be re-registered at the University of Trier for the winter semester 2020/21.
f) The student must then attend the next possible exam date for module XY in winter semester 2020/21!
