I am interested in the development of unsteady aerodynamic and aeroelasticity numerical models for turbomachinery and aerospace applications. Having developed tools over the past 10 years for CFD based fluid-structure interaction system with a linear modal model for the structure, I am interested in persuing developments on coupling CFD to nonlinear structural models for turbomachinery, aerpspace and hydroelasticity applications The reaearch work is to be complemented by controlled lab experiments for validation of the modelling tools

I am based in a newly established research team for aerospace technology with objectives of persuing research in Aerodynamics and aeroelasticity, hypersonic gas dynamics, flight safety and control and aircraft cetrtification. The group benifits from extensive computational and experimental facilities and contacts with local industires.
