My PhD thesis deals with the fine-scale genetic structure of different genetic lineages of the wall lizard in urban Central Europe.

• Since November 2011: PhD student at the post graduate program 'Environmental Law' at the University Trier. A combined research group of the Institute of Biogeography and the Institute of Law.
• September/October 2011:Bird monitoring for an environmental assessment as part of the process of creation of a wind park, Central Egypt.
• July/August 2011: Research stay at the EDIA-Program (Evolution and Development of Amazonian Ichthyofauna) employed with the evolutionary ecology of Apistogramma, Iquitos, Peru.
• May/June 2011: Teaching position in the field of ornithology at the University of Applied Forest Sciences, Rottenburg, Germany.
• March 2011: Graduation at the University of Tubingen
  Title of the diploma thesis: "Sex in a Sea Slug: Is it all about Copulation Duration?!"
  Field work carried out at Lizard Island Research Station (LIRS), Great Barrier Reef, Australia.
• 2007/08: 1-year academic 'Science-Special-Program'at the University of Pretoria, South Africa
  Work as a field and research assistant at the Institute of Genetics dealing with evolutionary genetics of fig wasps.
• 2005 - 2011: Study of biology at the University of Tubingen
