Our contribution to RTD activities envisaged as part of potential Integrated Project is centred on the issues of:aging/destruction processes of wood (of biotic&antibiotic factors, protection against changes in wood structure, increased timeliness of wood application in industry,wood as competitive product replacing plastics,concrete etc); environmentally friendly treatment of wood (life cycle analysis, safe application of chemically conserved wood-based products, ecological wood treatment systems, decrease of human health hazards represented by VOC emissions from indoor equipment, reduction of blue-stain fungi) and efficient processing of environmentally friendly boards from ligno-cellulosic materials (optimization of wood-based panels properties and production, improvement of quality of wood-based panels.

Specific Information on the competence offered: We offer competence in: substitution of liquid coatings by the powder ones on wood surfaces, acc. to European ecological requirements, application of knowledge-based modern coating systems directly on the factory coating line - quality level of powder finishing on wooden materials, furniture surface testing methods, application of water borne lacquer systems as finishing of wooden furniture substrates and many more.
