Course structure
A single-subject master’s degree programme has a standard period of study of four semesters.

The subject examination regulations (german) regulate the purpose, content and procedure of the examinations and are legally binding. Application and admission
Für die Zulassung zu diesem Master-Studiengang ist laut Fachprüfungsordnungein adäquaterBachelor-Abschluss mit einer Mindestnote nachzuweisen.
Ob ein Bachelor-Studiengang oder Teile eines Bachelor-Studienganges zur Aufnahme eines bestimmten Master-Studienganges berechtigen, entscheidet der Prüfungsausschuss des Faches während des Bewerbungsverfahrens auf der Grundlage der Fachprüfungsordnung.

Internships
Ein Praktikum im Umfang von ca. 6 Wochen ist verpflichtend vorgeschrieben.
Es empfiehlt sich zudem, frühzeitig durch Praktika Kontakte zu verschiedenen Branchen zu knüpfen und die zukünftige Arbeitswelt kennenzulernen. Die Universität unterstützt Praktika im In- und Ausland durch entsprechende Informationen und Angebote.
Study abroad
Ein Auslandsaufenthalt ist nicht verpflichtend, aber empfehlenswert.
