Application, admission, enrolment
For most programmes at Trier University you can enrol directly, provided you meet the requirements.
For the programmes with restricted admission, an application is necessary. In these restricted admission programmes, enrolment (matriculation) is only possible when you have been notified of your successful admission to the programme.
Beginning your studies
The best way to prepare for the start of your studies is to be well informed in advance. Our website can be helpful as you prepare and familiarize yourself with the university. As well, our central advisory centre (ZSB) is a great resource for information and attending the orientation events are key to getting off to a great start at the beginning of your studies.
During your studies
During the course of your studies, there are a number of things to organise e.g. financing your studies, an internship or a stay abroad and keeping track of important things, e.g. timelines for re-registering, taking exams or making the transition from bachelor to master.
Career orientation
During your studies, you should already be considering how and where you would like to apply what you have learned in your future career. Career services provides information, events and advisory services to help orient and support you in this regard.
Further education
Trier University also offers opportunities for personal and/or professional development. This includes the campus of the generations, internal/external educational opportunities as well as academic continuing education.
