Learning spaces and meeting areas

Many students use time in-between classes to meet up with fellow students or to learn and prepare for upcoming lessons. The campus offers a number of places and areas that are ideal for these purposes.

 

BibTop

BibTop

BibTop is a relaxed learning space within the library. It is equipped with several different workplaces where you can work in groups or alone. You can find BibTop on the second floor of the central library. Sockets and wi-fi are being provided, vending machines offer a small selection of drinks and snacks.

Subchill

Since 2020, the lower ground floor of Studiwerk’s main canteen (Mensa) offers a lounge and working space for students. “Subchill” is accessible via a staircase inside the Mensa building. The lounge is equipped with sockets and wi-fi. Snacks can be purchased from vending machines.

Learning Garden

Learning Garden

The “Learning Garden” outdoor seating areas are perfectly integrated in the landscape on campus. They can be found in several locations, usually in close proximity to university buildings.

Cafe Kunterbunt

Café Kunterbunt

Café Kunterbunt is a café for students run by the AStA. It is located inside the Studihaus and there is lots of space to work or study with access to the university’s wi-fi. Meet your friends or just enjoy a hot or cold beverage.
