For Educators

You are an educator and would like to participate in research at UniGR? On the following page you will find information on the various cooperation projects at UniGR.

What does UniGR mean for educators and scientists?

The rectors and presidents of the six partner universities have defined three key areas for UniGR in which intensive cooperation is promoted. These areas are Biomedicine, Border Studies and Materials Science & Resource Efficiency.

The UniGR project team will be happy to assist you in finding suitable partners for cross-border collaborations and research ideas. Likewise, we can support you in planning collaborations and the emergence of projects outside the key areas. Furthermore, we strive to reduce administrative hurdles in existing collaborations and to promote best-practice exchange on different levels. For more information and current dates and events, please visit www.uni-gr.eu/en.

UniGR-Center for Border Studies

You can also participate in cross-border research through the Center for Border Studies at UniGR. This is an interdisciplinary competence center of the UniGR and bundles the expertise of the border researchers of the six partner universities. It has been shaping the Greater Region since 2014 and works on borders and border spaces in Europe and beyond. The participating border researchers investigate socio-economic and socio-cultural issues and propose practice-oriented solutions for challenges in border regions.
