Trier University Delegation Fosters International Collaboration.
A delegation of around 20 colleagues from eight departments at Trier University, led by President Prof. Dr. Eva Martha Eckkrammer, recently visited Taiwan to strengthen academic ties and explore future cooperation.
Trier University and the National Chengchi University (NCCU) agreed to further intensify their cooperation.
During their visit, the team met with representatives from National Taiwan University (NTU), Tamkang University (TKU), and National Chengchi University (NCCU), laying the foundation for student exchange and joint initiatives. A major milestone was the signing of a collaboration agreement between NTU and Trier University to promote student mobility.
In addition to academic meetings, the delegation immersed themselves in Taiwan’s rich history and culture—with excursions to historical landmarks such as the Human Rights Memorial Park on Green Island, and participation in the international conference “Human Values and Social Transformations in the Age of AI” at NCCU.

Even the rain couldn't break the great team spirit of Trier's delegation.
Despite rainy weather, the delegation’s spirit remained strong—fueled by shared purpose, inspiring conversations, and a warm welcome by our Taiwanese partners.
This visit marks a promising chapter in Trier University’s international engagement—one built on curiosity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to global education.
