53rd International Summer School 2026
August 3-28, 2026 (as a face-to-face course)
Expand and improve your German language skills during a summer course at an internationally oriented university in one of the most beautiful regions of the European Union!
Our International Summer Course offers you:
- professional German courses (a total of about 85 hours of 45-minute lessons, approx. 25 hrs./week)
- a graded certificate and 5 ECTS credits
- the opportunity to participate in a seminar on didactics and methodology for German as a foreign language
- academic lectures and seminars by professors of Trier University
- individual exchange and communication with students from Trier
- city tours through Trier and Luxembourg
- excursions to the Moselle, Luxembourg and France
- regional cuisine & cooking together
- music, dance, games & fun

Add-On Module: German for Healthcare Professions
If you participate in our B1 or B2 courses, you have the opportunity to take our additional module German for Healthcare Professions.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate and an additional 3 ECTS credits.
This module takes place in the afternoons and comprises approximately 38 lessons of 45 minutes each.
