Research Funding at Trier University

The Research Support Office assists researchers in implementing their research projects. The team provides information about current funding opportunities by funding institutions (e.g. German Research Foundation (DFG) and other foundations), the European Union, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Federal State of Rhineland-Palatinate and Trier University, and help researchers find funding programmes tailored to their individual needs. Our team provides assistance for the proposal preparation as well as during the project’s implementation phase. To this end, we coordinate with other units including the university management and with external cooperation partners.
