Welcome greeting for all new international students on 08.04. at 08:30 in Audimax by the chancellor of the Trier University, Dr. Ulrike Graßnick.

Frechmen's Café
Whether you are just thirsty for coffee, want to meet other freshmen, have a question or just want to take a breather, the freshmen's café makes it all possible. Exchange your coffee voucher (available at the morning welcome event on Monday and Tuesday) and settle in.

How does Mensa work?
To help you find your way to coffee in the morning and learn how to use the payment system like a pro at lunch, Studiwerk offers new students at Trier University a short tour (in German) of the building on the following three days:
07. - 09.04, at 11:15 a.m. each day. Meeting point in front of the SO!- Studiwerk Office (Campus I).
Campus Tours
Our 30-minute campus tours start at 15:00 on each day of orientation. Tours are in German and start in front of Mensa (Campus I)
Get to know AStA
Get to know the "Allgemeinen Studierenden Ausschuss".
They will be at the information stand in front of room B 15(on Campus I) on 07. & 08.04., 09:00-12:00 h
and on Campus II on 09.04.

Get to know the student representatives
Student representatives are students in higher semesters that represent their department/subject (FB). They represent the interests of all students in the subject, e.g. in university committees, but they also know a lot about courses and timetables. Drop by after your introductory lecture and get to know your student representativeson 07.-09.04.

PORTA Trouble consultation
If you encounter technical difficulties while using the PORTA system, there will be a PORTA Trouble consultation hour Monday and Tuesday, April 07th and 08th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Information stand in front of Cafeteria A/B.

Tour of uniSPORT
Meet the uniSPORT Team at their Information stand in the mensa building on the 07.& 09.04., from 11:30 - 13:30 Uhr
At 13:00 on 07. & 09.04. the uniSPORT Team offers a tour around the sport facilities on campus and highlight the different sports courses and possibilities. The tours will be tours will be in German and begin in front of Mensa.
Hello first-year students with a disability!
Whether you have a visual impairment, chronic illness, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia or are dealing with mental health issues - it can be challenging to navigate your studies with a disability. The Student Counselling Centre offers information and assist students in navigating their way.

Student clubs and societies
Whatever your interest, there might be a club or society for you, may it be in politics, media, or environmental groups. You can become involved in any one of the clubs and societies that interests you. On 07.04 and 08.04.. from 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m you'll have lots of opportunities for meeting like-minded people at Studihaus, room B 13, room B 14 and in front of Audimax.
